Arts Council of Placer County strives to support all arts throughout Placer County. Towards this end and in the spirit of "Collaboration" ACPC is excited to bring you a great opportunity to promote awareness of your group. The next art show coming to our gallery, Placer Artists Gallery at Hacker Lab of Rocklin, will be called "Collaboration". It will feature artwork that either is a collaboration of two or more artists, or artwork that features a theme of teamwork.
We will be hosting an expo style reception for this show on April 13th, 2019 from 2-5pm. We would like to invite your group to be a part of this reception. This is an chance for you to educate people about your group and what you do within the community.
Here's how it will work:
Let us know your group is interested. Please tell us the group you are representing, who will be lead contact and all the necessary contact info including email and phone number.
We publicize the event to our mailing list of 6000 people. Your group invites it's members and supporters to the event. All the other participating groups do the same. Our last reception had over 300 people in attendance! It is our goal to break that record!
We will have a designated table ready for you at the event. Use it however you like to promote your group.
Your group staffs your table and brings one refreshment item to serve to the attendees - we will coordinate refreshments through the sign-up process. Bring any information that you want to display or hand-out. You can sign people up for your group, publicize upcoming events and/or ask for donations (No sales please).
This opportunity is available to all art groups, galleries, performing art venues, art education venues and art tours in Placer County!
Trisa Swerdlow will be coordinating this event so please send any questions to her at: email@example.com.
We will also have a small area available for performances during the event.
Please let Jim Crosthwaite know if you are interested in this and he can give you more information.
We look forward to working with your group.
