Professional regional theater company, Placer Repertory Theater, presents Ghosts of Placer County with an all-professional cast on the Oakmont mainstage in Roseville – Sept 30 thru Oct 8.
“The stories we tell say a great deal about who we are,” says the formidable yet loveable character Dr. Dessa Dagmar.
This is the story of 30 years in the life of Dr. Dagmar and her daughter Aubrey, or the story of many moments from nearly 200 years of history taking place in Placer County.
This play could be said to be about ghostly echoes, or about how individual and community history haunts us, and how we haunt our history to help define ourselves. While technically a drama, this play is full of humor and charm as we meet the loveable but dysfunctional characters who will steal your heart as they depict common triumphs and frailties.
COME JOIN US AND PLAY A PART IN PLACER COUNTY HISTORY IN THE MAKING!

This show is appropriate for all ages that have the attention span to see a 90-minute event. Ages 7 or 8 to 140. 🙂 Ages 11 or 12 and up will definitely understand the group dynamics and humor.
Parents: There is one minor cussword (sh*t) used two times. A few “scary” ghost and history stories which may include mentioning of violence are told – but are brief and not graphically depicted.
