Community Grants

Community Arts grants support the arts and cultural activities of artists and community organizations in service to residents and visitors of Placer County. These activities increase the value of the arts as an integral part of the community and make the arts accessible to all. These grants are made possible with public funds from Placer County and private donations, and administered locally by The ARTS Council of Placer County.

Grants range from $500 to $5,000.  All awarded grants are subject to a 5% Administrative charge upon being awarded.

Community focused arts and cultural activities, accessible to the general public, and occurring during the 2018 calendar year are eligible. Examples of projects include, but are not limited to, public art installations, arts related events, art workshops, art in public places projects, musical and theatrical productions, poetry readings, and arts education.

Please consult with the ARTS Council of Placer County Executive Director to determine if your application meets all the eligibility requirements. Jim Crosthwaite, ACPC Executive Director, 916-209-6778. executivedirector@placearts.org
