Re-imagining 2021 and beyond

The Arts Council of Placer County is moving forward and adapting how we support the arts in our county. As we carry out our Scope of Work on behalf of Placer County and the California Arts Council, we are fine-tuning our support in the area of promotion, and promotion of Art Tours in particular.

Placer County is unique in the number of art studios tours held annually. We are committed to seeing these tours expand, where possible, to include all sectors of our arts community, including performing arts, dance, theatre and spoken word, and to serve all communities in the county.

Continuing our revised mission to administrate fewer programs and provide marketing support to organizations who offer programs, the ACPC Board and staff has turned over management of the 28th Annual Placer Artists Studios Tour to a newly expanded Studios Tour Committee. While the committee will continue to seek an organization to present the Tour in the future, preparations for this year’s tour are well underway.
