Medium: Acrylic and Mixed Media

Gallery:

About:

As a resident of Placer County since 1988, I find it quite exciting to see there is an enthusiastic art movement happening.
After retiring from the classroom, I was now going to have a chance to work on my own art. This meant taking lessons from well known local artists like Sonia Hamilton to reintroduce the techniques to get me started again. The medium I chose was watercolor, but since then I have been working with mixed media and acrylic.

I have volunteered introducing students to the Elements of Art. This school year I introduced a first grade classroom at Creative Connections Art Academy in North Highlands to each element which they depicted in an art project which we did together.

I continue working at improving in all aspects of my art and learn about new things just about every day
