Marilyn Salomon’s batiks are known for their intricate detail. Created, using the traditional Indonesian process of drawing with hot was, then dyeing the fabric, her works contain up to sixty dye baths. Living in Auburn, California has inspired her to create art depicting the gold Rush Era. Marilyn has exhibited, lectured, and led workshops at museums, conferences, and universities internationally.
