The beauty of dance is that there is endless growth potential. Elevation Dance Center will provide a friendly atmosphere, and positive learning environment, so that our dancers can develop traits that will serve them well in dance and throughout life. We will have knowledgeable and well-rounded teachers who believe a strong technical foundation is of the utmost importance. Our class sizes will be kept small so our supportive staff can give individualized attention to every dancer, and ensure that each student receives a quality dance education.

Janell Fears, Instructor bio:
Janell Fears was born in San Francisco, California and was raised in the Bay Area & Tempe. She started dancing at the age of 5 and trained in ballet/pointe, jazz, tap, lyrical and Luigi jazz technique. She received most of her training through Victoria’s Academy of Dance, Tempe Dance Academy, Ballet San Jose, and renowned dance instructors in the convention circuit. As a young dancer, she was a member of multiple performance companies throughout California and Arizona. She has been recognized with top awards for her solo and group performances.
Janell has been teaching for over 20 years and enjoys sharing her passion of dance. Her students have received top judge’s awards, scholarships and have been accepted to Ballet San Jose, Alonzo King’s Lines Ballet, The Joffrey Ballet, as well as the Tisch School of the Arts at NYU. She is actively involved with Dance Masters of California serving on their judging panel.
Her teaching career has expanded throughout California and Arizona and was also invited as a guest teacher at a studio in New Zealand. She believes in giving her students a firm foundation in solid technique, that will help them in whatever route they choose for dance in their lives.
Chloe Anderson, Instructor bio:
Chloe has been dancing her whole life, but became serious about her dance career at the age of 15. She has trained in lyrical, jazz, ballet, and funk at many studios in the Rocklin/Roseville area, but has found her passion in hip hop and contemporary.
In addition to studio training, Chloe was enrolled in the dance elective class at Roseville High School. She was chosen to student teach for two out of the four years that she was involved. Through the high school program, Chloe was accepted as a member of the National Honor Society for Dance Arts, and was a recipient of the RHS Dancin’ Feat Scholarship. She has attended the Dance Teacher Web Conference and Dance Teacher summit, which has given her the opportunity to train under world renowned choreographers and performers of all styles. She has also received top awards for both solo and group performances at competitions throughout California.
Chloe started teaching quickly after graduating from high school. She is extremely passionate about sharing the gift of dance to people in her community and looks forward to doing so for many years to come.
