Medium: Painting, Textile, and Wearable Art
Art in all forms has always been my go to in terms of expression and sharing my ideas with the world. Between painting, multimedia, fashion design, and writing; I’ve been emerging myself in this passion my whole life. I began learning how to sew and up cycle at the young age of six years old. Thrift stores have been the gateway to my reinvention and reviving of fashion. I love using recycled fabrics, textiles, and unique materials for all my mediums of choice. I believe that we should always recycle before we create new materials. I have a deep love for the world and the people in it so I always keep in mind how I can empower people with my creations as well as help and heal my environment. In March of 2018 I walked my first runway show and 9 months later I put on my own fashion show including ten of my fully styled designs. I since then have been working on a new clothing line and over all lifestyle brand with the goal of releasing it to the public 2020.
I am a twenty-two year old independent artist based out of the Placer county area. During my attendance at San Diego City College I gained three years of musical theater experience and two years of dance. In addition I’ve been playing guitar, writing, and sing my own songs since I was nine years old. I’ve since then been growing my knowledge in preforming and composed expression. I’ve had the privilege of opening for Sa-Roc the MC and Akil the MC of Jurassic 5 . I’ve also preformed on multiple occasions with Hip-Hop artist J Ross Parrelli and Emmy nominated beat boxer & freestyler Radio Active. I currently just released my debut music video “Snakeskin Serpentine” featuring my looks and designs. I use my music on a daily basis as a great non-traditional educator in my community hand in hand with a non-profit organization called Auburn Hip Hop Congress. I am very blessed to have these experiences and full intentions on pursuing my talents as far as I can take them.
