A visual artists’ network for local and emerging artists
The Placer Artists League (PAL), in partnership with PlacerArts, is a group of active visual artists who meet regularly for camaraderie, artist presentations and demonstrations on a variety of media and art related topics from award winning professionals. The league’s charter is to support and educate local artists, encourage emerging artists and provide opportunities for exhibition and sale of members’ work.
Meetings
The PAL general meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month (except July) at 10am. The meetings are usually held at The Arts Building, 808 Lincoln Way, Auburn CA 95603. Visit our calendar at right for details.

PAL Membership
PAL is a program of PlacerArts. To become a PAL member you must become a PlacerArts member. If you wish to participate in PAL you must pay the supplementary Placer Artists League participation fee of $20 in addition to your PlacerArts membership fee. Click here to join or renew your membership.
PAL Membership Shows
PAL members are encourged to enter their artwork in the various PAL Membership Shows held throughout the year. There is a $3 hanging fee per piece of artwork. Click to download the exhibit form, PAL Artist Entry Form 2012 .
Annual PAL Open Juried Show
This show is the main fundraiser for PAL. We encourage artists from the area to participate in the show. There is a Reception and Awards Ceremony. There are various categories to enter your artwork. A fee is charged to enter and there is a limit of 3 pieces of artwork per artist. Click here for information about the 2013 Open Juried Show.
