PAL Holiday Party 2008The Placer Artists League (PAL), in partnership with PlacerArts, is a group of active visual artists who meet regularly for camaraderie, artist presentations and demonstrations on a variety of media and art related topics from award winning professionals. The league’s charter is to su

pport and educate local artists, encourage emerging artists and provide opportunities for exhibition and sale of members’ work.

Meetings

"New Leaf, New Life" Group Collabortion

The PAL general meetings are held the first Tuesday of every month (except July) at 10am.

The meetings are usually held at The Arts Building, 808 Lincoln Way, Auburn CA 95603. Visit our calendar at right for details.

PAL Membership

PAL is a program of PlacerArts. To become a PAL member you must become a PlacerArts member. If you wish to participate in PAL you must pay the supplementary Placer Artists League participation fee of $20 in addition to your PlacerArts membership fee. Click here to join or renew your membership.

 

PAL Membership Shows

PAL members are encouraged to enter their artwork in the various PAL Membership Shows held throughout the year. There is a $3 hanging fee per piece of artwork. Click to download the exhibit form.

Annual PAL Open Juried Show

The Placer Artists League invites artists to participate in its annual Fine Arts Competition and Exhibition at the Art Center of Lincoln.  This show is open to all artists and will be juried by Margot Schulzke.  Receiving is scheduled for Saturday, June 28 and Monday, June 30.  For more information about the show please refer to our prospectus.  We ask that artists register online in advance if possible.  Click here for more information and to register.
