We have some exciting news to share with you…
The Arts Council of Placer County is the umbrella for the whole organization, with all of our programs, including Placer Arts, falling under this. With the re-branding initiative, we are hoping to expand our reach to all of Placer County to complement our revitalization of the Community Grants program. This program is intended to support the arts and cultural activities of artists and community organizations that serve residents and visitors of Placer County.

PlacerArts Announces New Location in Auburn
The Arts Council of Placer County, doing business as Placer Arts, has moved to a new location in Auburn effective December 1, 2016. As part of Placer Arts “Moving Forward” effort, the non-profit arts group is now located at 910 Lincoln Way, Auburn. The new location will provide enhanced street visibility, display, gallery space and a classroom.
Larry Carducci, principal owner of the facility said, “We are so pleased to have the Arts Council of Placer County leasing our building. Placer Arts will bring liveliness and excitement to the Town Square area of downtown Auburn.”
The staff and board are envisioning expanding the kinds of art classes, events, and activities that the new space will offer Placer Arts. There are future plans to include a signature gallery space to feature local and regional artists with a variety of media.
